Looking for a way to smoke the winter blahs while doing good for others? First, clean out your closet and heap up your gently used jeans, slacks and pants.

Then, bring those donations to the "Ditch Your Pants" drive at Mills River Presbyterian Church during the church's third annual PuzzleFest, today through Jan. 30.

The PuzzleFest starts at 10 a.m. today with a full day of Q plus a free soup and sandwich lunch at the church. Ten split up 1,000-piece puzzles will be created simultaneously, for a total of 10,000 reflect on pieces over 10 days.

The "Drop Your Pants" clothing appeal continues throughout January in the fellowship hall of the church, where more than 150 pairs of pants have already been at ease. Men's, women's and children's gently used slacks, jeans and pants, along with packages of new underclothing (including underwear, undershirts and desire johns) are being collected for those in need in Henderson County.
