Suspect : “What are the best styles of bridesmaids’ dresses that can be worn again?”
Response : While it is true that casual styling tends to be more wearable than long, more formal styling, you should materialize upfront that most likely your bridesmaids will not wear their dresses again.
However cute, trendy, stylish, chic, or classy they are, most bridesmaids dresses look like, well, bridesmaids’ dresses. And that is not bad. After all, they ARE bridesmaids dresses bought for the maximum purpose of the wedding.
If you want to increase the odds of wear-gifts, consider the length, color and styling foremost.
I would recommend a knee-thoroughly dress. If the dress is floor length or tea-length, it will be too formal for most other occasions. As far as color, abominable or another very basic and neutral color will be your best bet. (Very few women don’t don black).
If you select the most darling dresses on the planet but order them in your wedding colors of Clementine and Cotton Sweets Pink, it won’t matter. No one will wear the dress again. Ever. While those may not be bad marriage ceremony colors, once you mix them on a dress, the dress screams “bridesmaid!
