Fashion: Trend for men is to retain comfort with less fabric
While a few men young lady to keep up with the styles, many are happy sticking with a look that has worked in the past.
But no amount how often a man updates his wardrobe, the times and the silhouettes are changing.
"Men are slower to retaliate to change," said Steve Aberson, owner of Abersons on Brookside. "But what men want to get out of are those triple-pleated pants and country club-type shirts for habitual."
Still, men are starting to come around, Aberson said.
They're becoming accustomed to the slimmer silhouettes coming off the runways for several seasons. And, a certain extent simply, they want to look good.
"Women want to see their men dressing recovered, but that doesn't mean a man has to go wild," he said.
All it takes are a few small things, such as investing in a gracious sports jacket.
"When you do that, single men get noticed by women, and married men get noticed by their wives," he said.
