I had this convention at a coffee research out of municipality today, which is patronized by lots of college students.  One junior man was intensely and very loudly playing his acoustic guitar (he reach-me-down a pick) and appealing in the last the possessor (slender, looked to be in her fifties, sporting expertly applied eye-liner, a spikey haircut that was fashionable five years ago, and a flowing leopard-print tunic) bustled out and spoke in a hushed undertone but basically told him to can it.  He bristled but put the guitar down.

A mini later I went in to get a refill and he went in as well, and the holder whisked around the piece and again in hushed tones confronted him about hanging around all day every day without buying anything.  Nobody raised voices, but as I am an professional and flagrant coffee seek eavesdropper, I heard him say modestly and securely that he did too buy works, pastries and coffee and lattes and that he gush a lot of lettuce there.
