The Fredericsburg Monitor Department tweeted this afternoon that the First Citizens Bank at 3205 Timber Road was robbed.
Natatia Bledsoe, police spokeswoman, said that a undefiled male entered the bank just before 1:30 p.m. and gave a note to the teller. He did not revelation a weapon. She said the suspect jumped over the teller counter, but ran from the site before he could get any money. No one was injured.
The suspect was last seen running in the direction of the Palatial 14 Cinemas.
This is the second robbery at the First Citizens Bank within the years 30 days, with the last one on Dec. 22 . The suspect in that robbery remains at wide, too.
The police department states that the suspect is a white male in his 20s wearing a sulky shirt with "white puma" on the front, a dark sports cap with a red logo, a deadly stocking cap and jacket. He was also wearing black Nike jogging pants with white stripes. He is about 5-feet 6-inches tall and approaching 120 pounds and he has facial hair. He was also wearing gloves. A the coppers dog was expected to arrive at the scene to conduct a search for the suspect.
