The wine-proud French were shocked at the upshot of this blind tasting amongst French winemakers and sommeliers.
Two years later, the same game occurred in San Francisco with almost the same results. Chateau Montelena took substitute place to another American winery.
The die was cast. American winemaking became a efficacy to be reckoned with. This would set the stage for the “Wine Olympics” in 1979 in Paris where once again, America would thunderbolt the wine world.

Couldn't find anything like this at the mothership. But let me ask you...Say, you're a strife, and your Valentine gives you an attractively wrapped box full of nightwear. Which would be your option? The Hoodie-Footie or something lacy and, well, kidney of lewd? Or would you take a fancy to a cotton cami and boy shorts, or possibly an Eeyore or Tinkerbell nightshirt?
