One hundred and fifty N.E.S. R.O.M. Fridays. Well-disposed god. There was a spell when a nugatory, mop-topped me would’ve flown into a fit at the aim of playing 150 N.E.S. games. I would’ve turned my desk over violently, a cloud of multiplication board worksheets fluttering in my wake, screaming incoherently as I ran internal from dogma as fast as my but legs could capture me.  I wouldn’t principled cut through people’s yards, I would run through their houses if it shortened the freak out. I wouldn’t use doors- jumping through windows would be faster. When I got up on and planted my intrude in front of the TV with those 150 gleaming cartridges in front of me, you wouldn’t have been proficient to pry that gray imitation rectangle out of my hands for anything, my pupils would dilate to the magnitude of fifty-cent-pieces and I would have possibly died from refusing to rest to eat or saw wood.

But like most things that rugged excellent when you’re sparse, 150 NRF games comes with unseen strings partial to. If N.E.S. R.O.M. Friday has taught us anything in this first 150 installments, it’s that for every one worth tournament in the library there are 30 shitty ones. For every Title of Zelda, Kirby’s Gamble or Megaman 2  you find, there are scores of bad talking picture tie-in games, mundane Galaga clones,  Bible about titles, fragmentary Tetris ripoffs, vile corporate mascot vehicles, TV gameshow adaptations and spelling tutorials for preschoolers. The amount of overwhelming clod fighting and challenging think through solving NRF has allowed us to do pales in commensurability to the crowd of frustratingly preposterous gaps we’ve sailed screaming into and powerups we’ve unexcited without thought having no fucking lead what they did.
