Is it possible to place a crown/cap on the molar without root canal treatment?
Question: I've a farther down molar which was already filled many years ago. There is no pain or trouble at this prominence, but as it does not look nice because of the fillings and to prevent further or to be to come decay. Crowning is said to prevent or protect from tomorrow's decay
Answer: Positive it is possible to place a crown on a tooth that has not had a root canal. Quite more of my crowns are on vital teeth than those tha thave had root canal treatment.
